The inspiration for today’s post came from a beloved client on a Facebook post I make last night.
I asked “What is your biggest struggle right now?”
I received one answer right away which was “I’m in pain”.
“My heart went out to this beautiful soul as she is a beautiful soul who is truly ‘My People’ ♡”
I SO wish I could have swooped into her body to take all of her pain away.
I’m personally struggling with hip osteoarthritis pain right now. It is diminishing as I believe my low gluten diet is helping. But the pain is real.
And it hit me…WHY pain?
First off, pain is usually an indicator that something is out of alignment.
What needs to get back into alignment so the pain can go away?
Then something else hit me.
What if pain helps us to stay humble and be more compassionate?
Does pain serve us if it connects us to the universality of how pain connects us all?
Isn’t that an interesting thought?
I feel very privileged to have this lofty perspective that dropped in tonight.
In the words of one of my favorite authors Glennon Doyle “We can do hard things”.
I believe that includes surviving pain.
Are you struggling with pain right now…physical or otherwise?
If so…please Hit Reply & tell me about it ♡
